The Star Ruby is the darkest of the red varieties with deep red colour flesh providing abundant, sweeter and less bitter juice than many other varieties. Moreover is a medium-sized citrus which contains hardly any seeds with very smooth and thin skin. Above all has a yellow colour with reddish tones, allowing to be peeled easily.

RIO RED GRAPEFRUIT
The Rio Red variety is an enhanced form of older red-fleshed grapefruits, and it is more cold-resistant and faster growing. When rip it has pale-yellow skin with an attractive red flush. Cut it open and it if full of sweet, red flesh with very few seeds. Red-fleshed grapefruits are much sweeter than white-fleshed ones.
